Resort Fun

One exercise of choice is the pedal boat. But running up the stairs to the water slide is part of the daily routine.

Connected

Husband has his own idea of vacation, and the iPad is essential.

Fishing

In the morning granddaughters get fishing lessons from their dad with quick results. He stays to fish alone but has no luck left over for himself.

Northwoods Pub

Friends joined us for children to swim and adults to relax with drinks. When time to eat, we walked up to Northwoods Pub for dinner. Popular games and popcorn kept the group satisfied until our food came.

Children returned to the pool area for "Dive-in Movie" time. Some viewers floated in tubes, exactly as the resort intended, to watch Toy Story 3.

Late night tonight is no guarantee we will have late sleepers tomorrow

Water Fun

First stop after unloading the car was the beach, but daughter and I were grocery shopping and missed those photo ops.

Second stop was the pool for water fun. Older granddaughter was mostly a blur coming down the slide.

Checking In

The old rocking horse still waits to occupy children while families check in. Our granddaughters might not fit on it much longer.

Ready to travel

With much eagerness to start our journey, girls stayed busy with loom crafts while adults packed and planned. An unanticipated activity was to replace a battery in the car SIL will drive up tomorrow.

Girls were first ones in the car and quickly nested for the ride. And we're off to the Gull Lake cabin!
