Sights along the way include exhibit for the Berlin Wall, balloon ride, statue, clever billboard, church, clock tower.

Typical German meal served family style and quite tasty: first beer, then soup for starter, plate with sauerkraut mine, plate with two kinds of potatoes Jim's, huge portion of apple strudel for dessert, coffee.

Lunch is at the Nolle, nicely decorated in Art Deco style. We sit at a table for eight and make more friends.

Reminders of the Berlin Wall are scattered throughout and often evidenced by the change in a path's pattern. Manhole covers throughout Europe are usually highly decorative. A stop to photo three buildings and then off to lunch!

20180720 Berlin Bus Tour 4 (6 photos)

Nearer the gate, horses are evident but still not sure about the wagons event. Another city celebrates peace with an angel. A large park provides welcome green space in this area. Landmarks continue.

We arrive at this gate and our guide remarks he has never seen horses here, especially with what he identifies as "western wagons." A group of musicians adds to the festive puzzle.

This monument honors those that suffered during WW2, the hole in the ceiling for the emptiness, the sculpture of a mother mourning the loss of her child. See two buildings and a street cafe, everywhere people outdoors on these warm summer days.
