After dinner at the Pinnacle, this towel creature waits for us. On our balcony we catch the last rays of sunset one direction and a surprise rainbow another direction.
A bedtime look in the hall, left and right, proves that many of us have anticipated the midnight deadline for having checked luggage outside our doors. Disembarkment will begin at 7:30 in the morning for our timing group's bus trip to the airport in Vancouver.
(Newly found photo of this gorilla towel sculpture convinces me that earlier creature was eagle. Wonder if I'll ever get all these blog posts revised correctly!)

Pinnacle Dinner 7/16 Tuesday
Our land tour director, Kelly Walker, recommended we dine at the Pinnacle at least once during our voyage. This dining room requires an additional fee that makes us curious to discover what the experience will hold.
Shouldn't every meal begin with three different salts and three different butters? Serve two lobster tails instead of one? And end with flaming baked Alaska and a triple creme brûlée?

Farewell Tour Friends 7/16 Tuesday
Before Kelly left us, she arranged for a final gathering up at the Crow's Nest Lounge and Bar at 5:00. We meet for drinks, toast Kelly, and review highlights and friendships.
A Few More Ship Photos 7/16 Tuesday
Wandering to the top, we step outside and confront the sea fog. On our balcony I wear a warm jacket and capture views on this last afternoon.
