Thanksgiving Eats 11/27
First a baked Brie for brunch snack, then the main meal at 2:00, followed by games and naps! Happy Thanksgiving!
Turkey Prep 11/27 Thursday
Yes, thermometer records one degree! But kitchen is busy getting turkey ready with bread stuffing. Dad supervises his daughters step by step, and they perform as accomplished sous chefs.
Additional photos show the box of chocolates we brought from Texas, all made by our little local factory. Always a treat!

Wednesday 11/26
With snow falling this morning, husband and I brave roads and traffic to run a couple of Christmas errands. Afternoon has snow halting and temperature falling; hot tea suits our wintry mood. Turkeys visit front and back yards again, even while s-i-l shovels sidewalk clean.
Older granddaughter gets a fancy braid from her aunt, and games and clever electric circuity projects fill the rest of the day.
In the evening before dinner, we have cocktails and meat snacks from Texas, my photo taken after the platter is half eaten, as my usual MOD. Parisa is still popular with this family!

Breakfast and winter gear for the last day of school before Thanksgiving, a holiday clearly not understood by the turkeys in their front yard!
