Our guide is Lucia Menendez from Chile who has lived in Munich 20 years and guided Dachau tours about 10 years. All transportation is included, and she keeps a fast pace down to the underground, on the train, on the bus, and through the memorial site. Although I take some pictures, I choose not to insert many here. Lucia frequently uses her smart phone to read extensive quotations from literature I have read, and this becomes deeply emotional for me. She is passionate about education's role in the prevention of future atrocities.
(Lucia's other job is teaching flamenco dancing.)
